I am a designer with 4 years of experience in the sector and I live in Turin.
Mine is a very varied path. I graduated in philosophy in 2016, with a preference for the philosophy of language and the intersection with anthropology, ethnography, and political science. After deciding that an academic career wasn't my thing, I decided that design could be a way to keep asking myself questions about the reality that surrounds me. Naturally inclined to question pretty about everything, I won the title of lovely pain in the neck 😉 . Fortunately, the predisposition to overthinking often saved me from making design choices that did not sufficiently consider the complexity of the case study. Sometimes overthinking could prevent over-designing. Sometimes, I won't deny it, I'd like to shut my brain off a bit more.
I have always wanted to create a great connection with developers. I firmly believe that a good designer must combine:
- the creative and empathic mind to understand the impact of his design on end-users,
- the logical mind to understand the impact that the choices they make have on their other users, developers.
I believe that often the workplace is not done only by work projects but also and above all by the people with whom we relate every day. Creating a peaceful and harmonious working environment is something I don't have to commit to, it comes naturally to me. One day a colleague defined me as a Connector personality. It's perhaps one of the best compliments they've ever given me.
